About me I was born in America but grew up in Nigeria before moving to the States at 16 for boarding school and college. I've always been passionate about fashion and style and I had a business in college selling African print clothing. I love all things style, self-care, beauty + health and I've been told by many people how great my style is and how well I care for myself. I have been told and consider myself High Maintenance. Why I started my community LAJA stands for the initials of my name (Lisa Ashan-wa Joannah Aliogo). I birthed this community as a safe space for women to be unapologetically high maintenance - in their groom, presentation and standards.
