Obedience: GOD’S Love Language pt.2
GOD’S definition of better isn’t about the highlight reel of your life it’s about the heart. In 1 Samuel 15, Saul tried to improve on God’s instruction, but partial obedience revealed a deeper issue: trusting his own judgment over GOD’S Word. Scripture says rebellion is like witchcraft because it quietly crowns our will above His. God isn’t after impressive sacrifices or creative substitutes. He is after surrendered hearts. True obedience may not be flashy, but it protects covenant and keeps GOD, not us, on the throne.
