You’ve just finished a conversation that didn’t go the way you expected. Maybe a team member challenged a decision. Maybe a client questioned something you were confident about. You handled it professionally. But now you’re sitting at your desk, replaying the conversation. You keep thinking about what they said, what you said and what you wish you’d said differently. And even though the conversation is over, you’re still thinking about it. You know what Scripture says about peace. You know you can turn to Holy Spirit for wisdom. But knowing how you want to respond and actually feeling settled enough to respond that way can be two very different experiences. I’m curious… When something rattles your composure, what helps you get back to a place where you can think clearly and hear Holy Spirit’s direction again?

My thoughts on the way we talk about Skool here there and everywhere :) Especially if you are in a public community (like this one!) what you say can be seen by whoever searches and finds that post. And within Skool, your comments stay forever. People still comment on posts and comments I left two years ago! And that’s fabulous when what I say is something I want people to hear forever and ever. But if I’m having a bad day or am frustrated with a temporary situation and I bad mouth this fabulous platform with a CEO and team who are doing their best to create something fabulous here, that is going to be something people can find forever and it hurts not only the platform but ultimately me as a community owner who is able to be an affiliate and actually earn money from anybody who opens a new community with my referral link. I have so much more to say about this :) Take a listen. PS: So sorry for the crashing at the beginning of the video - not sure why I couldn’t turn on my camera but I decided I wanted to say what I had to say right now :) And I don’t know how to add a cover photo that lasts longer than the thumbnail. Emily’s Delightful Surprise Emily Ann Roberts is delightful. And her husband loves giving her delightful little surprises because she is so transparent in her love for what he does. This Sasser House FB post might have been scripted but it doesn’t look like it to me - it looks like how she genuinely shows up in the world and it puts a smile on my face every single time!!! Take a moment and share her delight - then come back and share one of your favourite “influencers”. She influences because of who she is and that’s not a bad thing - let’s shift the perspective on influencers a little bit at a time because if Christians are not influential in the world, the Kingdom has a problem.
