The Word says in Ephesians 2:10 that we are His workmanship, created for good works… and then it says something that I don’t think we really sit with enough… “which God prepared beforehand.”
That means before you ever got here… before you became a parent… before you started trying to figure life out… God already prepared the path.
So your life is not as random as it feels. It’s not guesswork the way you think it is. And even in the middle of what feels chaotic… there is still intention behind it.
Some of you are putting so much pressure on yourself trying to figure everything out. “What am I supposed to be doing?” “Am I doing this right?” “What’s my purpose?” And the whole time God is like… I already prepared it.
You’re not creating your purpose.
You’re stepping into it.
You’re discovering what’s already been set in place.
Even in your parenting… the child you have, the challenges that come with them, the growth that’s happening in you… it’s not random. You were trusted with that assignment.
And everything you need to walk it out… God will either place it in you or bring it to you when you need it.
So instead of stressing and trying to control every detail… shift your prayer.
“God, show me what You’ve already prepared for me that I haven’t stepped into yet.”
Because your job is not to invent a life…
It’s to walk into the one that’s already been designed for you.
