Surrendering control
I’ve been asking God to help me release control of my children and surrender them to him I keep reminding myself that they belong to him and it’s my job to steward them and raise them up in the way of the lord God entrusted me with them so I have to be totally dependent on him to raise lead and guide them I can’t do it in my own strength so father God right now here in this space we release all control and render them to you we ask you to lead us and guide us as we lead them in Jesus name Amen 🙏🏾

We are Back In The Room
I know it’s been a minute since I posted in here, but I see y’all. Especially all the new members who came in recently welcome.🧡🧡🧡 This space is not just another group to collect dust. This is for the parent who loves God, loves their child, but is tired of feeling like they’re always behind, always reacting, always trying to “get it together” and still feeling like they’re failing. You’re not a bad parent. But some of us are stuck in cycles we were never taught how to break. The yelling. The guilt. The inconsistency. The “I’m gonna do better tomorrow” and then tomorrow looks just like yesterday. Yeah. We’re talking about that here. This community is here to help you parent with more peace, more discipline, more clarity, and more God not perfection, not performance, not pretending. Now let’s talk What’s one parenting area you’re asking God to help you grow in right now? And if you’ve been quiet, this is your tap on the shoulder. Come back in the room. We got work to do.

I’ve been asking God to help me parent with more grace and be more sensitive to his Holy Spirit today I am very sensitive to the Holy Spirit I recently started my 13 year old on a non stimulant ADHD medicine we’re on day 4 it’s working she’s more calmer more focused doesn’t take long to get dressed for school but then the mom guilt kicks in because I didn’t want to go this route but it’s for the best as of right now because she was failing in school due to her inability to focus and stay on task motherhood is one of the most rewarding and scariest things you can experience
A Mind Renewed Under Pressure
Many parents carry the weight of multiple roles...nurse, taxi driver, teacher, chef, breadwinner, counsellor. It’s easy to slip into autopilot or fall prey to negative self‑talk: “I’m failing.” “I can’t get through today.” Scripture calls us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. This doesn’t mean faking positivity but choosing, with God’s help, to replace lies with truth. When your mind tells you that you’re not enough, remind yourself that God says you are His workmanship and dearly loved. When you’re tempted to speak harshly to yourself or your children, pause and ask, “Would these words honour God?” If not, choose silence, a walk, or a prayer. Small shifts matter stepping outside for fresh air, putting on a worship song, or texting a friend for prayer can redirect your thoughts. Over time these choices train your mind to align with God’s view of you and your family, helping you parent from peace rather than panic.

Help me to replace lies with your truth father God and help me to be mindful of you in my actions and the things I speak in Jesus name Amen 🙏🏾
Emotions
Parents remember it’s ok to feel but don’t let those feelings lead proverbs 15:1 CSB A gentle answer turns away anger but a harsh word stirs up wrath

Why Are You Worried
Do you know how many birds wake up every single day…and eat? They didn’t clock in. They didn’t go grocery shopping. They didn’t cook a meal. But somehow…they are provided for. Every. Single. Day. And the flowers…Somebody didn’t go out there and plant every single one. Some of them just show up. In the middle of nowhere. Growing. Blooming. Becoming what they were created to be. No stress. No striving. No overthinking. And you mean to tell me…The same God that does that… is going to forget about YOU? You, who are raising children. You, who are carrying responsibilities. You, who are trying to hold it all together. We worry.....We stress....We overthink everything. “How is this going to work?” “What am I going to do?” “How am I going to figure this out?” Meanwhile God is like… “I’ve been providing this whole time.” If I can take care of birds… If I can clothe flowers… What makes you think… I won’t take care of you? So today…Take a breath. You don’t have to have everything figured out. Just trust that the same God…who provides for what doesn’t even think…is going to provide for you.
