Aside from the Bible, what's books have you read that have impacted your faith walk positively? I have many favorites, but Radical by David Platt is one that has stuck with me for years!

1st Corinthians 2:1-2 And I brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. ——————— General Principle/ Application: When I share the simple Gospel message, my testimony or the way God has moved in me, I’m reminded that even the great apostle Paul didn’t share with an elaborate or persuasive speech. He gave a simple yet effective message. Christ and Christ Crucified. Don’t let overthinking paralyze evangelism!

2nd Corinthians 2:15-16 “For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma to life leading to life. Principle/ Thought: We are the example of Christ, and God uses us as believers to transmit the Gospel to others through our example. Those that receive our example are typically receiving In one of two ways. For the saved, they receive us in boldness and power. The way God speaks life in to them. A pleasant and refreshing aroma. To those perishing: their spirit receives the truth, as a stench, one of death. There is a veil that’s covered their eyes and hardened their hearts.

1st John 5:4 For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. ————————————- Principle: Faith believes regardless of the circumstances and acts in spite of the consequences.

Let's here about the work of God in your life this past week! I’ll start! Yesterday, my ball join completely snapped while transporting five children. However it snapped as I turned into a parking lot, directly after getting off the interstate! So grateful for the lord’s protection! Thank you Jesus!
