Pacheco latest fight
Pacheco had a war which he didn’t need to have. He showed grit and won but didn’t need to win so difficult. When dealing with pressure from a shorter opponent here’s some tips. Break their posture with jabs , stiff arm probes Don’t wait on a counter-> Use the jab Duck smother clinch if you overwhelmed If clinching underhooks turn but don’t stop the punching use overhooks. Destroy any high guards Compact punches down the middle work don’t need to throw wide all the time. If they try use head movement to get close hook and change angles Keep your hands up when you throwing uppercuts.

My mentors tips on film study
My mentor has done film studies from anything from amateurs to world title fights here’s how he broke it down for me into 4 keys. Identify styles and strategy - Inside fighter , outboxer , counters , high guard and front foot pressure etc Identify tactics - how do they how do they close distance , do they set traps? Tendencies- what patterns do they repeat :combos , head movement , footwork. Flaws - where do they fuck up. Mistakes in technical form. What makes someone special list: Do they have good technique: stance balance etc Do they have a good jab? Do they have good jab defence ? Can they feint? Are they defensively responsible? Do they understand positioning and level changes? Do you have a full punch arsenal? How comfortable do they look in the ring? Can they adapt - take info and adapt to feedback

Defensive tactic
Was watching Lara vs trout Lara who had a good gauge of distance. Would step back but lean forward as a distance deception tactic so he could pull and counter when trout attacks. Very high level tactic. Let me know your thoughts ?

What are feints and why should you use them?👀
Simply put a feint is a lie. A small movement that makes your opponent react to something that isn’t real. Feints help you gather info, create openings, and control the pace of the fight. Watch any elite fighter , from Lomachenko to Sabrykahn , and you’ll see how they use feints to bait reactions, freeze opponents, and land clean. Knowing when and why to feint is what separates the good from the great. You using feints in your sparring yet? Want me to drop some drills for it? 👇🔥
