[Start Here] Welcome! Introduce Yourself + Share a picture of something special to you
Let's get to know each other! You can use this simple format: Hey, I live in _______________(city, state). My strongest sport is _______________________. Here is a picture of __________________ and it's special because ____________________. (it could be a picture of your bike, a medal, a special memento, a pet, ... really anything to help us get to know something special about you)
Welcome Post

[Go Here 2nd] How to Get More Free Stuff
Welcome! Here are a handful of tactical learnings we’ve had from tens of thousands of people's stats on how to succeed in communities like these. The following actions below are statistically proven to increase your chances of finishing. Just follow the process below (5min MAX). 1) Introduce yourself Complete your profile, comment on the welcome post and introduce yourself, and go read and comment on someone else's introduction. 2) Don't lurk ---> Like & Comment Engagement is the first and easiest thing you can do. Make liking posts/comments you like a habit. Find a post (or posts) you find valuable - and let the person who wrote it know. It's a free gift you can give to someone else. Everyone here knows it's nice to be appreciated. And it literally takes a tap or a click. 3) Get Free Stuff By Liking, Commenting and Posting, you get points: 1 like is a point and a comment is 2 points and a post is 2 points. This unlocks modules in the classroom and shows you cool ways to get free swag. It also tells the platform how to better serve you. (And yes, statistically, people who "like" stuff get more stuff).

How to Preview a Race course
I got a free race entry to a half marathon in Safety Harbor and currently, I'm only comfortable running 3 miles... So here's what I look for when I preview a Course. 1. Look at the pdf on website 2. Find start and what direction you go from the start 3. Look at the finish and the last mile of the finish. - there's nothing like the unknown to make things feel longer. Toronto Marathon Story. 4. Drive over to the course and drive as much of it as you can 5. Get out and walk a bit of it or bike some of it. 6. Bike all of it 7. Bike it again looking for inclines 8. Bike it again mental noting where elevation starts and stops (in order to ease off effort) btw, this is the clever/laxy way to get ahead. To work smarter not harder. 9. Run parts of it and rehearsing the last bit of the race the most.
