I'm so excited to have you here as a member of my virtual community. As a queer fitness coach, providing for and helping others have always been at the forefront of how I operate, and this page is meant to be another resource for anyone to use at little to no cost. This is meant to bridge that gap and bring ALL of us together. Here you'll find yourself surrounded by other queer folks looking to improve themselves, and you'll be provided with tools (by me) to help you achieve that. I am open to starting new discussion rooms if there is interest in a certain topic; I love to have places to discuss a niche/nerdy interest! Resources found here include but aren't limited to: -Queer History + Community Discussion of different aspects of the history of queer, identity, and gender. Queer history tidbits and queer icon spotlights! -Fitness + Exercise I post full workouts, examples of common movements and form cues, modifications, and discussion boards surrounding exercise and healthy habits. Monthly workout challenges with prizes! -Wellness + Behavior Improvement Habit building/breaking discussions, scientifically proven tactics that you can implement to improve your own habits, and wellness challenges with prizes! Hello, I am Naleilani (nuh-lay-lani) but most people just call me Lei. I go by THEY/THEM & Im sapphic. I live in Hawaii on the countryside of Oahu so its kind of hard for me to find queer community out here; most connections feel fleeting so im so glad to have an online resource/community like this & I cant wait to see what this grows into! Im into spirituality, art, horror games/shows, cooking/baking, Sci-fi and above all else, I LOVE writing Shy until I'm approached and then Im super chatty & open. I dont party/drink all too much but I love spending quality time with those who are close to me. Working on getting out more, socializing and experiencing life without hesitation or a strict agenda!

DISCUSSION BOARD: What's your favorite memory of queer community?
Community alone is special, but queer community is on a level of its own. If you'd like, please take a moment to share a favorite memory/instance that you feel represents queer community. I'll go first: Earlier this year one of my best friends lost her mom pretty suddenly. She called me after finding out (her family lives out of town) and I showed up 15 mins later to pick her up from work. I felt so helpless, I had no idea how to help or what to say. The only thing I knew how to do was be there and make sure she wasn't alone. I texted all of our friends and asked for all hands on deck; it was a Monday morning so I was expecting very few people to show up. I was proven incredibly wrong. Within 2 hours her apartment was filled with friends and familiar faces, all bringing food and warm wishes. They just kept coming, new people kept showing up or calling to see how they could support. For the next 24 hours she had someone by her side at all times. All of our friends are queer, and this story is now one of my most telling examples of how queer people show up for their community. She still talks about how loved and supported she felt in the time that she needed it most. I am proud to be part of a community that shows up for each other.
