Hello everyone! Here is some very little-known info about me. 35+ years ago a manager called me into his office to explain to me that the way I spoke with those working under me were offended at how I spoke to them. The next semester, I started Communications classes at the local Jr. College. A couple of years later, I got my Certificate in Business Management, with the majority of courses on Communications. Fast forward to now. I've been in Real Estate since 2007, licensed in 2 states, and continue to work on my communications. Some things I've discovered, I am a direct communicator. It's really hard to offend me if you're telling the truth about something. I may not like it, but the truth is the truth. I've also discovered that most people like things softened, made 'flowery' not so direct. I still have people tell me I intimidate them, but it's no longer because of the way I speak to them; it's now mostly because I've made learning and personal growth the core of who I am. I've been able to have amazing conversations with absolute strangers - who then feel like we are besties. Continuing my communication journey, I think mostly to remove the limiting beliefs that others have so generously provided me with. I am in the South Denver Metro Area, think, Denver, Aurora, Littleton, Castle Rock, Parker, Lone Tree, etc., and I still hold my license in California (inactive). I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and also lived in the Central Valley (Modesto area). I still own Recreational Property in the Shasta/Tehema National Forrest (R Wild Horse Ranch), and I love to ride. Mom of 2 adult special needs kids. Real Estate is my professional passion. My family and hobbies create a full life. I'm excited to begin 2026 with a foundation of being able to make adjustments in my communication and styles to be able to connect with more people while not intimidating newer agents.
