Acknowledge + Validate
Last week someone I went to school with, who I know is in a great position to buy, posed an objection to meet with me. I acknowledged his concern about me potentially pressuring him to start the process and validated him in his feelings of not being quite ready yet. Although it's not the outcome I want, I made him feel comfortable enough to meet with me just to catch up. I think this is a good start in building a stronger connection with him until he's ready to purchase
