Honestly… this hits different for me. Marcelo Garcia has always been my all-time favourite grappler. The way he played the sumi-geishi, the front headlock, the transitions… it was pure magic. His no-gi game from back in the day shaped so much of how modern grappling evolved, and it massively shaped how I think about Jiu-Jitsu. And then on the opposite side… Lachlan Giles has been my absolute favourite person to learn from in real life. Of all the seminars, all the private lessons, all the rooms I’ve walked into over the years, Lachlan has been the most enjoyable, most technical, and most generous grappler I’ve ever trained with.
