๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to the Grapple Growth Community
Glad to have you here. This space is for BJJ and MMA gym owners who are serious about building a smarter, stronger online presence โ€” the kind that actually fills your mats instead of just sitting there looking pretty. It's also for anyone in the Jiu Jitsu world who knows a gym owner that could use this. Coaches, competitors, longtime students, affiliates, gear brands โ€” if you've got a coach, training partner, or academy you care about, you're welcome here too. Bring them in, share what you learn, and help us raise the standard for how BJJ gyms show up online. Whether you're running one location, scaling to multiple, or just want to make sure your home gym thrives โ€” the goal is the same: more of the right students, less time wasted on marketing that doesn't work, and systems that run whether you're on the mat or off it. ๐Ÿ‘‰Please click here to start reading through the classroom section The first lesson Includes The "BJJ Gym Digital Foundation Checklist" โ€” a 60-point self-audit across the 6 systems every gym needs dialed in (website, SEO, Google Business Profile, visibility, lead capture, and business management). Run through it honestly. If you don't know what something is, just leave it unchecked โ€” we can talk about it. You'll walk away knowing exactly where your gym stands and what to fix first. - Message Me With Any Questions here: Tanner You can always shoot me a direct message if you've got a question, want feedback, or just want to talk shop Excited to have you in here. Let's build something real. โ€” Tanner Brown Belt BJJ ยท Founder, Grapple Growth

Basics Of Getting Referrals & Reviews
At the most basic level of this topic you simply need to imbedd a referral incentive within your business, service, or product. Take a 100 dollar membership for example, and you offer to your clients a $40 Referral incentive for a recommended client. Once that referral becomes a paying member, you either grant a one time, or reccurring commission as a thank you. Businesses seem to overcomplicate this, when in reality it's as simple as asking your clients or community for referrals. If you have a good product, and provide an incentive, then for every client you recieve, they replace their own membership, and in some cases cause exponential growth! During or at the end of their experience you simply ask for a 5 star review on google if you are a local business, for a written testimonial through text, or even a video testimonial Having those in your back pocket is an extremly helpful resource and it's as simple as making it a habit to ask. This concept is further explored in Alex Hormozi's Book "$100M Leads"
What's the value of being in a community?
It's not "Secret Information" It's not "Stuff you can't find out on your own" ___________ What is it? It's the fact that information is curated in a condensed way for consumption of the members. So by having access to the classroom section, and having direct access to me, in the endeavor of building a strong digital foundation the value is in that I can save you TIME, whether I show you how to do it yourself, do it with you, or do it for you! I'm happy to help you guys, and will consistently try and make this community as valuable as possible. Happy Monday Everyone!
What Is The Most Frustrating Part About Running a Physical Business?
Would love to hear your thoughts as my business is all online. I would think that dealing with other local competitors would be the most frustrating since it may feel like a constant competition. That's my thought from talking with many local business owners though. What about you?
How Do You Feel About a "Grapple Growth" Referral Program?
What incentive would make it worth it for you to refer business to myself? Would a one time referral bonus make it worth it for you... Say ($300) as a thank you for your trust in me to do a good job to another business Or would an ongoing monthly "Cut" be worth it for you? For example, every business you refer, you get $40 per month as long as they maintain as a client with me? Would love your feedback! Trying to think of win win situations for everyone : ) Hope you are all doing well! - Tanner P.S. Grapple Growth Consulting is the company name I came up with a couple years ago, for those of you who only know me as Tanner, just for clarity haha
