Mercy, Mercy, Mercy
A great soul jazz piece written by Joe Zawinul in 1966 for Cannonball Adderley.
I've wanted to learn this tune since I watched Peppino D'Agostino and Nora Francesca Germain play it together at the Martin Taylor Guitar Retreat in Atrani, Italy in 2015. Over 10 years later I finally started working on it (just a few weeks ago), with the aid of a tutorial from Peppino.
