Etude 6.6

There's two things I'm trying to do here aside from playing the right voicings with good time and tone.

The first is to control the overtones from the sixth and fifth Strings, by lightly touching the sixth string with my right palm and touching the fifth string with the tip of my left hand index. This works almost as a guide post for me so when I feel that string against the tip of my index I know I'm in good position.

The second thing is to avoid the tendency to damp the strings with my right palm and instead do all the string damping with the left hand fingers. It's tempting just to cut off the cords with the right palm but I think it's better technique and a bit more challenging to do the string damping solely with the left hand.
