Virtual US Adress Necessary for LLC Registration as Non US Resident ?

Hey Guys ,

all incorporation services offer a virtual mail adress for a monthly Fee (Postbox) as a service BUT.....is it really necessary to have one to register the LLC or to apply for the EIN ???

i´m not certain about that. since all the business communication with the authoroties is handled by the registered Agent through his Adress
