How I got a Guinness world Record at 18!
Hey fellow Jammies!!
I am here to kick off my bucket list Challenge with a story of how I ended up with a Guinness World Record!!
now lets hope I can remember all the details 😂
I am a Musician, I have spent the last 20ish years ( god now i feel old haha ) playing the Baritone Saxophone, and at the end of High school I was offered an amazing opportunity to do a Music camp with the amazing Australian conductor James Morrison which lead to his announcement of him wanting to break the Guinness world record for the worlds largest orchestra! and on the 13th of July 2013 7,224 Musicians came together from all over Brisbane at Suncorp stadium to perform a medley of Waltzing Matilda, Ode to Joy and the Classic QUEEN song We Will Rock You! as a group performing together for the first time ever we had about 20mins of practice before it was Time!! and the goal to make sure we were all playing in sync and in time with no more than 2 people per section taking a break at one time 🫣 ( almost impossible am I right ) but we did it!!! 7,224 people all in sync and performing in Harmony Breaking a world record and doing it to one of the best songs of all time!
