✨Identity Alchemy Challenge Reviews🔥(& What Helped Me Most)
This has been an INCREDIBLE 28 days. SO much has happened and I feel it's important we talk about it. I'd also like to share my own experience doing this challenge alongside you including my challenges, my insights, and what I'm doing moving forward.
I have done a version of this challenge in February before the Academy was relaunched. But this iteration, with the tracker, the blueprint, the daily structure, the behind the scenes work we did together was something ELSE entirely. And I want to share what shifted for me personally because I think it will resonate with a lot of you.
What I did not expect:
I expected to facilitate this challenge. I did not expect it to crack me open the way it did.
The military conditioning I have been carrying for years; the urgency, the hyper-vigilance, the inability to rest without guilt, the feeling that stillness is a threat had started to loosen in a way I have not experienced before. This process created enough safety and enough structure for it to finally start moving on its own. And alongside that, grief I had been suppressing around my parents, financial stress, old patterns in my parenting also came up. All of it wanted attention.
And for the first time, I was able to meet it differently. Most people turn away from this but this challenge made it possible for many others and myself to address these things with compassion and grace as part of this process. Though this challenge was SOOO fun, it is very, VERY deep internal work that reorients your whole world. That alone can be a shock to the nervous system and throw people off violently off track.
Here's what helped me the most:
The declaration was monumental in my journey. SO simple but SO effective. Reading it out loud and feeling the my nervous system settle. That became the MOST reliable reset I had. On the hardest days, that alone brought me back.
I talked a lot about the importance of the pause, Every time I wanted to react, overwork, spiral, or go into fix-it mode, the pause was the intervention. It gave me just enough space to choose differently. Not always. But more often than before. And more quickly each time.
The environment change that took place was necessary but also very organic. Creating my office space during this challenge was not in my plan. It happened because the blueprint made it undeniable and something I desperately needed and lacked in my life. Everything that was not aligned started to feel too loud to ignore. And that space became the physical evidence of this new identity taking hold.
Slowing down was also very important for me. Every time my nervous system pushed me to speed up, to do more, to fill the empty space I was creating, I practiced slowing down instead. And what opened up in that space was exactly what needed attention. That is where the real processing happened.
Here's what I am still working on:
My evenings. My morning ritual is solid now. My evenings still need work. The overworking cycle, the doom scrolling, the not going to bed when I said I would, these are still showing up. They are my next round of work and I am not ashamed of that. It is just data to go by that shows me where I can improve.
The financial patterns tied to old survival behaviors still are there and I've sought out help for this because I need it. I know what they are now. I know where they come from. And I know what it will take to change them. That work is next.
What this challenge is actually accomplishing:
This is not a productivity system. It is not a habit tracker. It is an identity container. And what it does, when you actually show up to it, even imperfectly, even on the hard days, is change what your system repeatedly experiences as normal. Slowly. Deliberately. Until the new baseline is just who you are.
That is what happened here. For me and for everyone who participated.
I am so proud of this community and everything that has unfolded over the last 28 days. Now I want to hear from you.
👇 Leave your review below: what shifted for you? What surprised you? Who showed up on Day 1 and who are you leaving this challenge as?
Watch my full review in the video above and then share yours.
This testimony matters, not just for the people in this challenge, but for everyone who has yet to discover what this work can do.
And if you are reading this and have not yet done the challenge — it is available to you at any time. You start at Day 1. You move at your own pace. And it will meet you exactly where you are.
