Took an impromptu trip

Good morning good people! For the first time in my life, I took an impromptu SOLO trip to Cali yesterday to try to catch the verzuz between Tank and Tyrese. Nah, I'm joking! But seriously, took one to see Mr. Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. And although it was simply a concert, I couldn't help but feel like "this is my tribe." I felt an immense sense of belonging like I was on the right path and understood that though I don't have the placements, the listeners, or the contracts yet, sometimes just get in the room.

I really wanted to "fangirl" and try to meet him and tell him how he's my "mentor in my head" but I had a 1am flight to catch so I don't get fired for skipping 2 days of work lol
