Songwriting Competition
Hello everyone! I'm not sure if I shared this, but i ran across this ISC(International Songwriting Competition) on ASCAP's website. It's only open to ASCAP registered writers and at the moment, the fee to enter is $25 if you use code: ascap@isc. Judging is by various artists(Andy Grammer, Elle King, Jason Mraz, etc) and just to name a few previous winners, Coco Jones, Kehlani, Fantastic Negrito... Depending on the category, submissions are judged on the following criteria: • Creativity • Originality • Lyrics (excludes songs that do not have lyrics) • Melody • Arrangement • Overall likeability International Songwriting Competition | The #1 Song Contest for Songwriters GOOD LUCK!

ANNOUNCEMENT: 2 TONE. And class is tonight.
Family, you are hearing this here first, before anywhere else on the internet. I formed a new group. It is called 2 TONE. Me and Trap Beckham. Ten years ago Trap and I made "One Time for the Birthday Chick" and it went platinum and took over every club and every birthday in America. This week he is in Los Angeles and we are locked in, building the next chapter together. Not a placement. Not a feature. A group. Here is the part that matters for this Academy. Ten years ago we made a platinum record and the paperwork was not right, and it cost me for a decade. This time, the paper came before the music. Split sheets from session one. Everything priced, everything owned, everything on paper. That is the whole curriculum in one sentence: talent got us the record, paper gets us the future. Tonight in class I am telling you the full story. How the group came together, what a 3-second yes sounds like, what I did differently ten years later, and what one of YOUR OWN classmates just did that proves the lessons are landing.
