Day 1 Homework
5 Struggles
  • I struggle with my screen time, I sit on my phone and mindlessly scroll while trying to convince myself “I’ve earned this downtime” or “I’m learning how other people make content” when i’m actually just being lazy and sacrificing my time to meaningless garbage
  • Public Humiliation, I haven't filmed in public for months because I’m scared of people looking at me and thinking it’s weird, making fun of me because I’m doing this and I’m not lean, just anything public scares me.
  • Food, At least once a week I’ll get high and binge on so much food that it just resets what I have been working towards, it fucks me over every time and my progress slows down exponentially because of this.
  • Time management, I get lost doing when doing shit and end up getting nothing done because I just think about what I’m going to do instead of actually doing it.
  • Money, I’m currently being funded by student loans just to get through school and the fact that I’m going to come out with 60-80k in debt is terrifying, I wonder what will happen to me if I can’t get a job right out of school with my degree.
  • Social Media, I spend so much time studying how to do this and never actually do it, which I know is how you learn, you learn by failing and making cringe shit and humiliating yourself.
5 Contrasting Wins:
  • Screen Zen: I’ve started using an app to help me manage my screen time, it allows me to block apps when I need to work and get shit done (which can contrast doing some of the social media shit sometimes) but it does help me get my time management in check
  • 2024 Summer: I would set up a camera every single day and film my exercises and make cringe “what I did in the gym today” videos, which helped me understand more how social media works and what I needed to do to build an audience
  • Food Stock: I deleted every single food delivery app I have, I only go to the store on a full stomach and clear head so I know what I need to get in order to eat healthy and keep my calories in check.
  • Time Management: Just going out and doing it, I set up my phone on a tripod and record myself studying when I really need to get shit done so I can force myself to get off my phone and actually put in the work I need to do (for school)
  • Money: I know exactly what I want to do after college, no matter if I get the job I want or not. I want to live cheap, in a van I will build out instead of paying rent for an apartment. I like to live at my means and nowhere above that and because of that I am certain that no matter what job I have or how miserable I am, I won’t get stuck in a place where I can’t pay back my loans.
  • Social Media: I am starting this program to keep myself accountable and actually start posting again, not because I think I need to, but because I had so much fun creating the videos when I was doing it. I turned it into a chore when I started doing it because I just liked to.

“Now I force myself to act… with a strategy no one wants to do… I started recording myself study and posting it online, not with the goal of it getting views, with the goal of getting sh*t done”
(Visual Concept)
Different timelapses of me studying, videos of the work I’ve got done, screenshots of grades I’ve gotten from doing this method.

“Go force yourself to act, don’t think about it… just go out and get sh*t done by making other people watch you do it online”
