Martin Luther King, Jr
Sometimes we forget a man was born on January 15, 1929. He was a father, a husband, a brother and a son before he ever lead a movement. Today is the birthday of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. PhD. He however was murdered not only in the physical but his legacy was corrupted and weaponized to silence people seeking change.
Dr. King reminds us that we have work to do. Our work must be life giving. As we celebrate his life let us never forget who he was, what he did and how he never hesitated to die because he loved us so.
“Whatever your life’s work is, do it well. A man should do his job so well that the living, the dead, and the unborn could do it no better. ” Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr PhD
