Week 1: Day 6 Content Hooks
POST 1
Content Pillar: Behind-the-Scenes Business
Hook Angle: The Part Nobody Sees
ENGLISH
Hook:
“This is the part of my business you don't usually get to see…”
Sub Hook:
“Not the finished product. Not the nice photo. The stuff that happens before anyone sees the result. 😂”
Cover Hook:
“The part you DON'T see…”
Talking Points:
Show something that happens behind the scenes of your actual business.
It could be packing orders.
Preparing products.
Answering customer questions.
Doing admin.
Ordering stock.
Making something.
Preparing a client session.
Setting up equipment.
Cleaning your workspace.
Fixing something that went wrong.
Testing a product.
Researching something.
Doing the boring little jobs that keep things moving.
Don't make it look glamorous if it isn't.
Show the normal, messy, repetitive part.
Explain why this part matters to your business.
Let people see that there is a real person doing the work behind what they see online.
If your business is digital, show the less visible work behind delivering it.
If your business is physical, show the actual process.
If you provide a service, show preparation rather than only the final client experience.
Caption:
People usually see the finished thing.
The product.
The service.
The pretty packaging.
The finished result.
They don't always see all the little things that happen before that.
Today I'm showing you one of those things:
[INSERT YOUR BEHIND-THE-SCENES ACTIVITY]
It's not particularly glamorous. 😂
But it's part of what makes the business work.
And honestly, I think these are some of the most interesting parts to show because this is where the real work happens.
CTA:
“What's one behind-the-scenes part of YOUR work people never get to see?”
AFRIKAANS
Hook:
Verduidelik hoekom hierdie deel belangrik is.
[VOEG JOU BEHIND-THE-SCENES AKTIWITEIT IN]
Dis nie juis glamorous nie. 😂
POST 2
Content Pillar: Educational — Life Lesson
Hook Angle: You Don't Have to Keep Proving Yourself
ENGLISH
Hook:
“Here's a life lesson I wish I'd learned a lot earlier: you don't have to keep proving yourself to everyone.”
Sub Hook:
“Some people will understand you. Some won't. And honestly… that's okay.”
Cover Hook:
“You DON'T have to prove yourself.”
Talking Points:
We spend a lot of time worrying about what other people think.
We explain our choices.
We defend decisions.
We try to make people understand.
We sometimes change ourselves to fit what someone else expects.
But not everyone is going to understand your choices.
Not everyone will agree with you.
Not everyone needs to.
Your life doesn't need unanimous approval.
You can change direction.
You can try something new.
You can decide something isn't for you anymore.
You can grow out of an old version of yourself.
You don't need to convince everyone that your decision is right.
Sometimes the people closest to you won't understand immediately.
That doesn't automatically mean you're making the wrong decision.
Listen to good advice.
Learn from people you trust.
But don't hand everybody the steering wheel of your life.
This is a lesson that can apply to relationships, work, business, hobbies and personal growth.
Caption:
One thing I'm learning:
I don't have to explain every decision I make.
Not everyone is going to understand why you chose something.
Not everyone is going to agree.
And sometimes people will have an opinion before they even know the full story. 😂
You can listen.
You can learn.
You can take good advice.
But you don't have to spend your life trying to convince everyone that you're doing the right thing.
Sometimes you just need to know why YOU chose it.
CTA:
“What's a life lesson you've learned the hard way?”
AFRIKAANS
Hook:
Sub Hook:
“Party mense gaan jou verstaan. Party gaan nie. En eerlik… dis okay.”
Cover Hook:
“Jy hoef NIE jouself te bewys nie.”
Talking Points:
Jy mag iets nuuts probeer.
Leer by mense wat jy vertrou.
POST 3
Content Pillar: Passions
Hook Angle: The Thing I Never Get Tired of
ENGLISH
Hook:
“I don't think I'll ever get tired of [INSERT YOUR PASSION].”
Sub Hook:
“Even after all these years, this still makes me ridiculously happy. 😂”
Cover Hook:
“I'll never get tired of this…”
Talking Points:
Choose something you genuinely love.
It can be a hobby.
A type of food.
Gardening.
Animals.
Reading.
Travelling.
Exercise.
Music.
Cooking.
Photography.
Fashion.
Cars.
DIY.
Family traditions.
Collecting something.
A place you love visiting.
Something you have enjoyed since childhood.
Explain what you love about it.
Tell your audience when you realised it was a passion.
Share a small memory connected to it.
Explain why it still makes you happy.
Don't worry about whether it's “relevant” to your business.
This is about showing the human being behind the business.
Let people have something to connect with that isn't a product or service.
If there is a natural connection to your business, you can mention it — but don't force one.
Caption:
There are some things you just don't grow out of.
For me, that's [INSERT YOUR PASSION].
I don't care how busy life gets.
I can still get completely excited about it. 😂
I think we sometimes forget that we're allowed to have things we love simply because we love them.
Not because they're productive.
Not because they make money.
Not because they can be turned into a business.
Just because they make us happy.
And this?
This is one of mine.
CTA:
“What is something YOU will probably never get tired of?”
AFRIKAANS
Hook:
Caption:
Daar is party goed waarvan jy net nie uitgroei nie.
Vir my is dit [VOEG JOU PASSIE IN].
