Week 1: Day 2 Content Hooks
POST 1
Content Pillar: Everyday Realities
Content Mission: Attract
Hook Style: Relatable observation
ENGLISH
Hook:
It's the little things that make me, well... me.
Sub Hook:
Like having a favourite mug, getting ridiculously excited about something small, or having absolutely no patience for certain things. 😂
Cover Hook:
The little things that make me ME.
Talking Points:
Share real details about yourself. Choose the ones that reflect your personality.
  • Something small that makes you ridiculously happy.
  • A habit your family or friends tease you about.
  • Something you absolutely love doing.
  • A hobby or interest you could spend hours on.
  • Something that irritates you more than it probably should.
  • A favourite food, drink, place or activity.
  • A little routine you wouldn't want to give up.
  • Something people are often surprised to learn about you.
  • A funny or unusual preference you have.
  • Why these little details are part of who you are.
Caption:
I'm not just the person behind [your business/product/service].
I'm also the person who [insert a funny habit], loves [insert something you enjoy], and will happily spend far too much time [insert your interest or hobby].
Those little things matter too.
Because there's a whole person behind every business, and I don't want people to only know what I sell.
So, tell me... what's one little thing that makes you, YOU?
CTA:
Tell me something about yourself that has absolutely nothing to do with work!
AFRIKAANS
Hook:
MY maak.
Sub Hook:
Soos my gunsteling koffiebeker, om belaglik opgewonde te raak oor iets kleins, of om absoluut geen geduld vir sekere goed te hê nie. 😂
Cover Hook:
Die klein dingetjies wat MY maak.
Talking Points:
Deel regte besonderhede oor jouself. Kies goed wat jou persoonlikheid wys.
  • Iets kleins wat jou sommer belaglik gelukkig maak.
  • 'n Gewoonte waaroor jou familie of vriende jou terg.
  • Jou gunsteling kos, drankie, plek of aktiwiteit.
  • 'n Klein roetine waarsonder jy nie graag wil klaarkom nie.
Caption:
POST 2
Content Pillar: The Customer's Perspective
Content Mission: Nurture
Hook Style: A familiar customer situation
ENGLISH
Hook:
How many times have you bought something, only to regret it later?
Sub Hook:
You liked the packaging, the recommendation sounded convincing, and the price seemed reasonable. Then you got home and wondered why you bought it.
Cover Hook:
Bought it. Regretted it.
Talking Points:
Adapt this to the type of products or services you offer.
  • Describe a common buying situation in your niche.
  • Explain what initially attracts someone to a product or service.
  • Talk about why a popular choice isn't automatically the right choice.
  • Explain one detail people should check before buying.
  • Share a question they should ask themselves before making a decision.
  • Explain what makes one option different from another.
  • Give an example of something that looks appealing but might not suit everyone's needs.
  • Share your advice for making a more informed choice.
  • Explain how your own product or service fits a particular need.
  • Encourage people to choose what genuinely works for them rather than simply following trends.
Caption:
We've all been there.
You see something, it looks lovely, someone recommends it, and suddenly you're convinced you need it.
Then you get home and realise it wasn't quite what you expected. 🙈
Before buying [insert a product or choosing a service in your niche], take a moment to check [insert an important detail customers should consider].
A little research beforehand can save you disappointment later.
And remember, just because something works brilliantly for someone else doesn't automatically mean it's the right choice for you.
CTA:
What's the one thing you always check before buying something?
AFRIKAANS
Hook:
  • Beskryf 'n algemene koopsituasie in jou nis.
  • Verduidelik hoe jou eie produk of diens by 'n spesifieke behoefte pas.
Caption:
POST 3
Content Pillar: Personal Point of View
Content Mission: Position
Hook Style: A firm personal opinion
ENGLISH
Hook:
I don't believe everything needs to be done the popular way.
Sub Hook:
Just because everyone else is doing something one way doesn't mean it's the way that makes sense for you.
Cover Hook:
Popular doesn't always mean right.
Talking Points:
Choose a real opinion connected to your work, niche, product or service.
  • What is something in your industry that you don't necessarily agree with?
  • What is the popular way of doing it?
  • Why do you see things differently?
  • What do you believe people should consider instead?
  • Share an example that illustrates your point.
  • Explain how your own experience has shaped this opinion.
  • What do you prioritise when making your decisions?
  • How does this belief influence the way you work?
  • What would you tell someone who feels pressured to follow the crowd?
  • Invite people to share whether they agree or see it differently.
Caption:
Just because something is popular doesn't automatically make it right for everyone.
In [your niche or industry], I believe [insert your honest opinion].
And here's why: [explain your reasoning].
I'm not saying everyone has to do things my way. Different people have different needs, circumstances and priorities.
But I do think it's important to make decisions based on what actually works for you, rather than feeling pressured to follow what everyone else is doing.
CTA:
Do you agree, or do you see it differently? I'd love to hear your take.
AFRIKAANS
Hook:
  • Hoekom sien jy dinge anders?
In [jou nis of bedryf] glo ek [voeg jou eerlike opinie in].
CTA:
Stem jy saam, of sien jy dit anders? Ek sal graag jou mening wil hoor.
