Humanity is in a liminal space. A space of transition. It's happening financially, politically, astrologically and meta-physically. In transition spaces there is a slowing down, almost a stagnancy, however this is all by design. It's really hard to change your oil while you're still driving. Here's a quick quide for how to thrive in periods of transition: 1. Become safe with slowing down. Notice the sub-personalities or defense mechanisms that want and NEED you to be IN MOTION/striving/hunting. 2. What are the primary differentiators between the old and the new, the past and the present. 3. What is the purpose of this transition and how will it help you? Be GROUNDED in Purpose. 1. For many of us, stillness can feel unsafe. Many people have had hard-charging parents, and even more fundamentally as a society we value action, hard work, progress, and EFFORT. While this has it's place, WORKING your way through a transition can lead to missing the lessons. After all for many of us and society as a whole the fuel 'driving' us scarcity, shame and fear of rejection. So deploying MORE of this fuel source to move us out of a stagnancy only exacerbates the problem, reinforces the dissonance and potentiates miscalculations. Learning to be safe in stillness and stagnancy is huge. After all, if you can't be safe in stillness, how will you find safety in motion? One of the precursors to safety is acceptance. Can you accept where you are? Can you accept where you've been? Will you accept where you're Soul's going? These are quintessential steps to safety. 2. If you were to look at whatever cycle you've been in that you're being asked to transition OUT of- what is it? Is it a communication pattern? An emotional pattern? Is it a deeply held identity? The most fundamental changes can bring all of the above. The important thing is to craft a coherent story. A story that is easy to Love and that generates peace, ease and enthusiasm for the present moment. That is what makes a good story. A character who grows in the face of a challenge and find resolution through a beginning, a middle and an end. Craft your story through understanding the beginning, or your past, accepting that you're in the middle, and crafting and believing in an end. Then if you can collapse all three into the present moment- then now you're really talking. This is where practices of deep rest, meditation, journaling and reflection are so key.
