Today during our discussion the question that generated a wealth of perspectives was
"When you’re in a group, how do you tend to affect who feels free to speak? Think about the power you carry, whether it’s your title, your experience, your confidence, or your voice, and ask yourself: whose silence might you be contributing to without realizing it?"
That question generated reflections on
🥕 Supporting organizations who are truly working for the betterment of society and the environment.
☮️ The responsibility we have to listen first before sharing what we know with humility.
The conversation touched on:
🫣Being an incognito healer,
🌱The importance of soil health, the work of Sadguru in Tamil Nadu,
🚰 the World Water Community asewage systems that create clean water for a fraction of the cost.
🫀Early childhood care, indigenous knowledge, a biocentric approach, thinkers from the South
🤠Power dynamics.
✨The session ran way over time and I'm inspired and grateful to and for taking the time to think together.
Next Tuesday Nov 10 will be joining us to discuss her new book - Still Fire Inside, you can find the link in our calendar.
