Reading Scripts through the eyes of your Inner Artist
To understand the character being portrayed, you must compare and contrast the role to your Inner Artist. We all experience a variety of emotions on any given day.
By taking multiple attempts to understand the character, while in a different emotional state, Mathew McConaughey can see the role from more emotional angles.
Unlike One-dimensional and two-dimensional characters who are all flat characters, a complex character needs to be understood and portrayed in a similar complex way.
