One way to get out of your head is to ask yourself: “What do I actually KNOW, and what am I ASSUMING?” 💭 Real-Life Scenario: You walk into a room where a few people are already talking. Nobody really acknowledges you when you come in. Immediately your mind starts: “Are they being funny towards me.” “They didn’t want me to come.” “I can tell the energy changed when I walked in.” “Maybe somebody said something about me.” “I shouldn’t have even came.” Now STOP. ✋🏽 What are the FACTS? The only fact you actually have is: ➡️ You walked into the room. ➡️ They were already talking. ➡️ Nobody acknowledged you right away. Everything else came from your thoughts. You don’t KNOW that they don’t like you. You don’t KNOW somebody was talking about you. You don’t KNOW they didn’t want you there. Your mind took a situation with missing information and filled in the blanks for you. And that’s how overthinking can steal your peace. Before you react, leave, shut down, catch an attitude, or distance yourself, ask: “Do I have facts…or did my mind just create a story?” 🧠💭 🎯 TODAY’S CHALLENGE: The next time something makes you feel rejected, unwanted, or uncomfortable, separate what you KNOW from what you’re ASSUMING. 👇🏽 Be honest: Have you ever convinced yourself somebody had a problem with you, only to find out later that it had absolutely NOTHING to do with you? I know i have several times only to end having the best time of my life that night.
