Listen to the best bansuri flute! 🎵 To inform your improvising
I've now had a Pandora account for over 20 years! What I love about Pandora is that you can put in a song you like, and then it makes an educated guess as to which music you'll like and it plays those songs. When you 👍or👎a track it gets even better at guessing!
One of my favorite stations is Om Namo Bhagavate Radio. Sometimes these radical flute solos come on and I just love it! But usually I am so in the flow when I'm listening that I never think, "who's playing that flute? I want to listen to this again!"

I'm pretty sure this is Manose Singh playing flute on this recording!
What I love about it:
🪈 The flute is really subtle in the beginning... low & slow. I love this texture.
🪈 The flute is the perfect compliment to the voices. I feel like the voice is there representing the spirit of the wind, like some mythical creature like a faerie, or an earthly flying creature like a dragonfly or butterfly.
🪈 I love how "free" the flute feels in the solo time & garnish time. Free-flowing, unencumbered... I envy this level of freedom and try to emulate it in my own playing!
😮 I'm jealous of those pitch bends!
