Here's mine: "Today I joined the Flutarians, a community of skilled flutists who believe that improvising can be easy, not scary. When I first started, I felt anxious - like a wolf caught in volcano. But now I am learning to improvise with ease and without fear. My tone feels more clear & expressive every time I play. Even Becky has started to notice! I am already improvising in teaching. I am an improviser! Every day I am becoming a more confident improviser. I trust my gut. With each improvisation I am letting go of fear. With each musical phrase, I am finding & expressing my unique musical voice. I improvise! I am committed to helping 20+ flutists discover their unique improv voice. I will not be defeated by the feeling of being overwhelmed; My future self is grateful to my present self for taking it one step at a time. I am a Flutarian, and I am improving my improvising!"
