Finding a Good Supplier
Hi everyone
I'm currently a university student launching a student-focused kitchenware brand in New Zealand. It's a bundle of essential kitchen items (like cutlery, pans, utensils, etc.) designed specifically for students and first-time flatters. The goal is to offer convenience, aesthetic appeal, and an all-in-one solution, something that saves time and looks great in any flat.
I'm currently looking to connect with reliable suppliers (local or international) who can provide:
  • Quality kitchenware (individual items or complete sets)
  • Low to moderate MOQs (since I'm starting small)
  • Potential for private labelling or pastel-coloured options (unisex, Gen Z aesthetic)
Would love advice on:
  • Best ways to approach and vet suppliers
  • Red flags to avoid
  • Anyone with experience sourcing similar home or kitchen goods
Open to both wholesale and small-batch private label options for now not currently looking for pure dropshipping, but flexible if there's a good model.
Happy to chat further or provide a visual reference.
