I used to be terrible at getting feedback (and many of us aren't great at giving it)
I have learned three things:
Don't criticise the person, evaluate the behaviour.
Always receive Feedback with a Thank You and if necessary a non-judging clarification question so you understand better.
Ask for feedback in a quiet moment from people you can trust to be honest in YOUR best interest (not theirs).
