Most websites look the same now. Same layouts, same type, same AI-flavoured blandness. Not because designers lack talent, but because taste was never taught to them.
This is the place we teach it.
Aalto is a free community run by the team behind Aalto, an agency building high-end, visually distinctive websites. Everything here comes from the way we actually work: the references we collect, the rules we break on purpose, the motion we build with GSAP and Three.js, and the client sites we ship.
What you'll find inside:
Weekly references from photography, film, art and travel that feed your input diet
Tutorials on motion, WebGL and the small details that make a site feel expensive
Honest feedback on your work from designers who do this every day
Tools, prompts and resources we use in the agency
Post your work. Ask the awkward questions. Steal from the best and then make it your own.
Taste isn't something you're born with. It's something you feed.
