Easiest way to lower your blood sugars
Easiest way to lower your blood sugars is to improve your sleep to 8 hours of bed time.The best way to do this is to: 1. Set your hard start time in the morning. 2. Then work backwards to set your sleep time to get your magical 8 hours of sleep. 3. Don’t make any exceptions!

Why blood sugars spike in the morning?
It’s because of cortisol. Cortisol results in: 1. Increase in glucagon which dumps sugar into blood stream from glycogen stores in the liver. 2. Suppression of insulin which is needed to get the sugar out of the blood stream and into most cells. The net result is to increase sugar stores for your brain and red blood cells that don’t need insulin for sugar absorption. The intent is to help you get up and get growing in the morning. Unfortunately in diabetics the sugar spike is too high and detrimental.
