When you look in the mirror you never see anyone else but you.
When you look out into the external world you see a direct reflection of everything you believe, what you have consistently felt and what you persistently expect. If you believe life is hard, your experiences will be perpetually challenging. If you feel what you want is elusive your experiences will be full of lack. If you expect specific results and they are not realized you will experience more opportunities to perceive failure.
In other words, your external world is a direct reflection of your internal world. It is the mirror and a mirror can only reflect, not contrive.
When you begin to shift your internal conversations you will shift the external world. Will it all change when you deem it should? Probably not. The changes manifest at the perfect moment. Trust the process–not the timing.
The next time you have cause to look in the mirror—remember—you only ever see YOU.
YOU are the change.
