Most agent websites are built around their awards, designations, and experience. But nobody is searching for that.
That page only works on someone who already decided to hire an agent and is now picking between them.
People wake up in the middle of a problem, and you want to be the solution.
- Three kids in three grade levels and a job transfer to LA.
- A parent died and the house is stuck in probate.
- Do I sell first or buy first.
They are not searching your name. They are searching their situation.
So the question is not how you describe yourself. It is what you solve better than anyone else in your market.
"Luxury homes in Portland" is a description of you.
"Portland car collectors who need five or more garage bays" is a niche. Only one of those is something a person types into a search bar.
Your credentials are not the lead either. They are the proof that sits behind the answer.
A page that asks "who is the best agent in Portland" and answers with your own name has handed AI a claim, and AI does not take your word for it. A page that answers "what ceiling height do you need for a car lift, and what does it cost to add 220v" has handed it facts. Facts get quoted, and your page gets named as the source.
Your twenty years is what makes that answer correct. It just does not go at the top.
Pick one audience. Follow what changed in their lives down to the question they type at 11pm. Do that three more times.
Those questions are your website.
Step 1 of the Get Started series is attached. It walks the whole thing, about twenty minutes with a pen.
Drop your one client type in the comments and I will help you follow it down to the question.
