The Growing Pet Pro is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Closer to convert qualified leads into new clients for our pet industry marketing services.
This role focuses on closing inbound and pre-qualified prospects who are interested in improving their marketing, generating more leads, and increasing bookings for their pet businesses.
The ideal candidate is confident leading structured sales conversations, identifying client needs, presenting solutions clearly, and guiding prospects toward making a decision.
This is a performance-based role with uncapped commission, ideal for someone who thrives in a results-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Sales Call Execution
• Conduct scheduled sales calls with pre-qualified leads
• Lead structured discovery conversations to understand business goals and pain points
• Present The Growing Pet Pro marketing services clearly and confidently
• Position the value of marketing systems and client acquisition strategies
Client Qualification
• Identify whether prospects are a good fit for our services
• Assess the prospect’s current marketing efforts and growth challenges
• Confirm readiness to invest in marketing solutions
Closing Deals
• Guide prospects through pricing and service options
• Address common objections and questions
• Confidently ask for the sale and secure client commitment
• Ensure the client understands onboarding and next steps
Follow Up
• Follow up with warm prospects who did not close on the first call
• Maintain communication with potential clients when appropriate
• Ensure prospects feel supported and informed throughout the decision process
Crm and Sales Tracking
• Record call outcomes and notes in the CRM system
• Track prospects through the sales pipeline
• Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, and deals
Collaboration
• Communicate with the operations and marketing team about new client wins
• Provide feedback on lead quality and sales messaging
• Help refine the sales process and improve close rates over time
Daily Activities
A typical day may include:
• Conducting 3–6 scheduled sales calls
• Reviewing lead information before each call
• Following up with previous prospects
• Updating CRM records
• Communicating with the team about new deals and pipeline status
Requirements
Sales Experience
• Previous experience closing sales, preferably in marketing services, agency services, or high-ticket offers
• Experience conducting structured discovery calls
• Strong objection-handling and negotiation skills
Communication Skills
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to clearly explain marketing services to small business owners
• Professional and confident phone presence
Sales Skills
• Strong ability to identify client pain points
• Comfortable discussing pricing and investment levels
• Skilled at guiding conversations toward a decision
Technical Comfort
• Comfortable using video call platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet
• Experience with CRM systems is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple prospects in a sales pipeline

Compensation
Commission Structure:
20% commission on every closed deal
