🥴 Even after 9 years on the road…
We drove off with the power cord still attached. Heard a loud thunk and immediately knew something wasn’t right. Lesson learned: Never skip the final walk-around. Has anyone else ever left something attached?
👋 Welcome to Hot Mess Camper Club.
This is the place where RVers share the stories we usually keep to ourselves — the mistakes, the mishaps, and the moments that make you laugh after the chaos is over. After years on the road, we’ve learned something important: RV life is incredible… but sometimes it’s also a hot mess. Inside this group, we swap stories, learn from each other, and prove that every RVer has at least one moment where they thought: "Well… that didn’t go as planned." You’ll see posts about things like: • driving off with something still attached • tanks doing what tanks sometimes do • cabinets opening while driving • surprise floods • wrong turns and “hang on!” driving moments Feel free to jump in, share a story, or just enjoy the campfire conversation. To get things started, tell us: How long have you been RVing, and what kind of rig do you have?
