🗂️ How to Get Your REAL Credit Reports (Not Credit Karma)
Pop quiz: Where do most people check their credit score? If you said "Credit Karma" - you're not wrong, but you're not getting the full picture. **Here's what you need to know:** 📱 **Credit Karma, Credit Sesame, etc.** - Free and easy to check - Good for monitoring trends - ❌ NOT what lenders see when you apply for a mortgage 🏦 **What Lenders Actually Use:** - FICO Score (specifically FICO 2, 4, and 5 for mortgages) - Can be 20-80 points DIFFERENT from Credit Karma - This is what determines if you get approved **How to get your REAL credit reports:** 1️⃣ Creditscorego.com -$29 a month for the credit report -Includes Free AI assisted credit repair -Cancel anytime 2️⃣ *AnnualCreditReport.com** (Government site) - Free reports from all 3 bureaus once per year - Shows ALL your accounts and history - No score included (just the report) **Questions?** Drop them below! 👇

❌ 7 Credit Mistakes That Are Costing You (Stop These Today!)
I've reviewed HUNDREDS of credit reports, and I see these mistakes over and over. The good news? They're easy to fix once you know about them. **Stop doing these 7 things:** 1️⃣ **Closing old credit cards** ❌ "I paid it off, so I closed it!" ✅ Keep it open (even if you don't use it) to maintain your credit age and available credit 2️⃣ **Only paying minimums** ❌ $25/month on a $500 balance ✅ Pay as much as you can to lower utilization fast 3️⃣ **Ignoring errors on your report** ❌ "It'll fall off eventually" ✅ Dispute it NOW - it could be costing you 50+ points 4️⃣ **Applying for credit everywhere** ❌ Trying 5 different credit cards hoping one approves you ✅ Research first, apply strategically (I share which cards approve low scores in my courses) 5️⃣ **Not checking your reports regularly** ❌ "I'll check when I'm ready to buy" ✅ Check every 3-6 months - early detection = faster fixes 6️⃣ **Only using Credit Karma** ❌ "My Credit Karma says 700!" ✅ Credit Karma uses VantageScore. Lenders use FICO. They can be 50+ points different! 7️⃣ **Giving up when you see a low score** ❌ "My credit is too bad, I'll never own a home" ✅ Credit is FIXABLE. I've seen 580s become 720s in 6 months with the right strategy. **Be honest: which one(s) are you guilty of?** 😅 No judgment here - we've all made these mistakes. The key is stopping them once you learn it’s not good for your goal.
