A Good Week!
I made it! The next steps in my recovery seem to be in reach. My granddaughter and I had a very positive week, and our relationship is growing! My mom and hers must be jealous or are just negative, hateful people, as usual, because my drive home was not even over before their criticism started. Well, at least they were true to character! I will consider this a positive, and hopefully, they can find joy in something besides family.

Malpractice or Mistake
Tomorrow I'm doing a podcast as a guest about my disgusting medical miracle! It is hosted by a former surgeon who left her field due to discrepancies in care between patients. I'm hoping to talk about my misdiagnosis and how with the correct diagnosis I could have avoided the toucher that led to 17 amputations and my disability. After 28 years of battle with the system, the evidence of the failure has come from the holistic community. It has now been confirmed by the medical community, which finally got the right diagnosis and added to my list! My vascular issues were acknowledged 3 years ago, and I have been 6 years into my healing journey. They have finally released me from the end-of-life diabetes protocol that has stood in the way as an excuse for 25 years! I still have normal A1C s, and never have they treated me for it, they just expected me to die! Here to better days!

My Granddaughter Taught me About Anxiety
Last night at dinner my sweet Aurora got food possessive it seemed like when she got her dinner it sparked her memory, and she wanted some of everything in the house. For some reason her home situation with two older brothers came to my mind and I explained to her that she was by herself here and didn't have to worry about her food disappearing here. She loved the idea and settled down and she even saved her leftovers. I never thought about how much little children are exposed to stress from even a good home environment.

I'm Excited for the Weekend!
Today I have the honor of setting up two teams for our fundraiser. I'm helping a small local library fund raise to help with DOGE cuts in federal funding programs. I'm all for efficient government and am supporting it by helping our community bridge some gaps! I also get to help with my long beloved Habitat for Humanity project tomorrow, but the best thing is I will be picking up my granddaughter on my way home and I have a week of activities planned! The fact that I feel good enough to do this is nothing short of a miracle, just a year ago I was still struggling with complications from my bypass surgery and dealing with clogged arteries in my legs. I hope everyone can enjoy their weekend!
