Tea Time with Tracy is happening in 14 days
Anyone else use mushroom products (supplements, tea/coffee, candy)?
I went to Phillips Mushrooms last week, IFKYK, and grabbed some fresh mushrooms, but also bought a dark chocolate bar made with Lion's Mane and some Lion's Mane gummies from Om. I've been doing some reading from credible sources about studies using Lion's Mane for inflammation, cognitive improvement, etc and decided to see if it worked for me in any way. First, I need to say that my mantra on health trends is "everything works for somebody - nothing works for everybody". So, I try to be my own best advocate when it comes to taking drugs or supplements - even food choices. I happen to be very sensitive to caffeine (heart palpitations, shakiness, etc.) and don't do coffee. Tea and chocolate don't seem to have the same issue, but I do avoid them in the latter part of the day or I might pay for it with sleep deprivation. Anyway, I have been VERY pleased with the Lion's Mane gummies. I feel focused, energized, but not in a nervous way, and definitely feel like they've done good things for me. Just wondering if anyone else has had positive/negative experiences with them.
Burn progress!
Here we go! As promised, a document of my burn from Day 1 to today, 9 days later. Just hydrosols and an essential oil balm of my own creation. Great progress, don’t you agree?!?

Live test
Well I didn't see any of you Live today, so I used it as a test run to make sure the audio, video and recording options all worked. 👍Hopefully we'll see more of you next month and hopefully we'll get more community members - I'll be having a sign up sheet at the next two events - a Type 1 diabetes Health and Wellness event on Sept 26th and a Mindfulness & Scent event at Club Pilates on October 18th.
Burn progress
So, you'll be thrilled to know that the blister popped on its own on Day 4, leaving of course a pretty raw piece of skin underneath. Sprayed it lightly with the aloe based spray until it satrted feeling well enough to put a balm on it, then I alternated with Sudocrem and a balm I make to prevent scar tissue forming. We're on Day 6 now. So far so good. Not red raw anymore. from here going forward it will just be the scar balm and healing oils like Frankincense and Helichrysum.
