These questions help parents understand development, culture, and fit — not just wins and losses. 1️⃣ How do you develop players who aren’t varsity-ready yet? Look for real plans, not “we’ll see.” 2️⃣ What does a typical in-season week look like for my child? This shows structure, time commitment, and balance. 3️⃣ How do you communicate with players and parents? Clear expectations = fewer surprises. 4️⃣ What earns playing time in your program? Great programs reward effort, coachability, and consistency. 5️⃣ How do you handle injuries, mistakes, or confidence dips? Strong cultures teach resilience, not fear. 💡 After the conversation, ask yourself: Did this coach talk more about developing kids or just winning games? Development always comes first.
