Safety in the Mountains is always a priority. Planning before you go, checking weather forecasts, planning routes, putting time protocols in place with loved ones.
Preparing my essential safety kit as it's always better to have an emergency piece of kit and not need it than need it and not have it!
Knowing what to do in an emergency especially if I am hiking in a different Country, what are the emergency telephone numbers etc. Carrying an emergency beacon like the Garmin InReach is my go to emergency tech.
