Troubles

I've been trying to become a new me I've worked on myself so hard for the last 4 years then I reached this plateau where I just felt like what I'm doing could only bring me so far and I needed to find more I have questions about things life etc so I started searching for answers. Turns out that all the bettering myself from the years of abusing drugs and just being an all-out awful human being as maybe caused me some bad karma some I paid for in returned karma and I hope that now after almost 10 years of being clean except for the occasional magical spirit plant medicine every year on the summer solstice which has brought me to where I am in my search now. I've been trying to add meditation into my daily life style as well as positive affirmations and trying to manifest my future in the way that I know it is but for some reason I can't seem to get what people are supposed to get out of meditating and I can't dream dreaming is supposed to be a huge heart of raising your consciousness because your dreams are your problems being worked out and your subconscious and I don't know what to do about any of this I am really just fundamentally and extraordinary lost. Maybe this group can help or maybe not but I am very hopeful. Please let me known that yes I have made mistakes in my life and when I say I was an awful person I mean I was doing drugs and feeling from family members and just lying all the stuff you might kind of expect from a drug addict I wasn't out robbing the General public I've always been a really good person at heart I just walked a path that most wouldn't choose due to circumstances that went 100% of my doing long story if you want to know more ask me privately if not no big deal just please know that I really am a good person and I really am looking to raise my vibrations alter my state of consciousness so I too can't escape this light matrix.
