Poem: You’re Perfect
Hey you, yes you, person on the other end of this screen
I know things have been hard lately but it’s not what it seems
If only you could see all the beauty in your flaws
You’re so beautiful when you’re vulnerable and raw
I don’t want you to try and be perfect and fake
The imperfectly perfect you is what I’ll take
Nothing compares to the way you play your part
The one and only you with the most precious heart
I often wonder how you haven’t realized your worth
You’ve been priceless since the moment you came to earth
I don’t say this from what I see with my eyes
I feel your energy and that never lies
I think it’s time you spend some time with the source
Then you’ll see you’ve always been right on course
Melt into your heart with silence, love, and respect
Then, and only then, will you realize what I mean when I say you’re perfect ❤️
