Fail is a word often equated to the word fear. That is far from the truth. Fear of failing prevents trying. Not trying prevents growth. Failing is proof of trying. Fail is closer to faith than fear.
I used to know a woman who took up yoga in her 50's. She started with intermediate classes, not beginning. She did hot yoga classes. She tried every position even when she knew she would fail. Falling over constantly trying to do head stands. The instructors LOVED her "go for it" attitude. So what happened to this "fearless failer" woman? In just under 3 years she was TEACHING yoga professionally.
