Do you believe the healing process needs to look messy?
Dark, not fun, complicated, horrible to experience?
If so, you are somewhat right, but mostly wrong.
You see, while of course yes, sometimes when you are trying to process unprocessed emotion/trauma, it can be messy, it can be uncomfortable.
But really, even when that does happen, which is very rarely at that, you will still feel good after you get that emotion out, which at the end of the day is delayed gratification, and we know that is good for us.
