Do you ever feel in fight or flight mode even when you are safe?
Do you feel twitchy, irritable, stressed out?
If so, you most definitely have a dysregulated nervous system, you see trauma does not just affect your mental health / wellbeing it also affects your physical health too.
It has been said that each singular trauma / unprocessed emotion gives your body the same symptoms of sickness.
This is why I make this post to spread awareness, it is not talked about enough the physical benefits of healing trauma, such as:
- You get less sick
- You feel less stressed = higher testosterone and etc
There are of course a lot more physical benefits, but genuinely those are the two significant ones.
