Follow Your Heart

Although we are eternal, each life is too short to fritter away spending most of your best time at some job you don't love. It is said if you do what you love, you never work a day in your life. That's not entirely true.

If you pursue your passion, that will not be the work. The work is finding ways to make it pay. Logistics of advertising, scheduling, expense management etc. Still though it is attached to your passion. As a chess teacher, I learned at 13 how to direct and run chess tournaments. This not only made money, but allowed me to meet potential students. This was especially true when I had students playing and winning . Running those events was long and demanding. Yet are not most jobs long and demanding? It was still chess!

Whatever YOUR passion, you CAN make it work for you. You may need to start slowly, part time, but that's ok. That will let you explore ways to make it pay. Embrace your passion and trust in your ability! You will thank yourself sooner or later.....maybe both! It's your move.
