Eventhough it's a gov shutdown, the EPA is issuing an emergency waiver allowing the sale of E15 gasoline (15% ethanol) from May 1 to May 20, 2026. This allows higher-ethanol fuel during summer, intended to save roughly 10–20 cents per gallon. The shift primarily affects availability in the Midwest.
Apparently not good for cars to save a dime per gallon?
